The Way Forward is Co-Creating with a Tribe

Everything Online Changes Faster Than Online Courses

The online world changes so fast all the time that to expect to learn what you need from online course material can have you chasing rather than setting your pace.

Since this is a long game you want to set your own pace so that you don't tire out before you reach a sustainable level...to do that means you want to build and co-create with a dedicated tribe.

If you are unfamiliar with co-creation it's just a fancy way of saying you are creating with rather than alone...in this instance it's establishing communication with a certain group of people so that you know what problems they will pay you to solve...

It's then working with them to solve it the best way possible...and when you have established trust with this core you are their go-to...they are very unlikely to shop around for the best deal because of that know, like, and trust factor...

It takes some work and time to get there and that's where you establish trust early on so that you co-create with a tribe rather than chasing in a sea of similar looking competition...

This also means there is an emphasis on catering to a smaller dedicated tribe rather than trying to be everything for a huge audience...

It also means being more yourself or as some term being "authentic" instead of just marketing to people that sign up with you...it's having a bit of old school integrity and seeing people as people rather than just numbers on an email list...

There is an art to it all...an ongoing learning process yet the key is in establishing what I like to call a simple crucible of learning...

Simple put a crucible is there to contain a process of melding together different ingredients to create something new...in this sense you are melding together your ideas with an audience and building from there an ongoing dynamic of creation...

Here is a very easy popular example...take YouTube. By starting a YouTube channel you have a crucible for learning how to create video content which gets, keeps, and transforms attention...or at the very least one to learn how to entertain or to teach...

Each of the parts of YouTube provide a way to learn as you go...learning to craft headlines and thumbnail images to capture attention, how to keep that attention within your video and then how to transform that attention into an ongoing desire to watch more...

One key factor to making the crucible sustainable over time is to find ways to make some money while you learn so that you keep on going...because otherwise more often than not the demands of life will get in the way...

Yet if you are making some money than WITHIN OUR CURRENT CULTURE that provides further justification...and allows for more creation to take place...otherwise it's much easier to let it go...

So the crucible is key for establishing and growing an audience yet you need a path to some profits to keep it sustainable over the long term...some may disagree yet money is just an exchange of energy and as long as you are giving to your audience there is no reason to get back some in return especially if it means you get to keep on creating...

So how do you effectively create a crucible of learning that potentially results in money at the same time?
